Reliably designed circuitry and maximum exterior heat sinking enable our modules to operate 3ºC to 5ºC below competitive equivalents. (Many equivalent encapsulated models lack the exterior aluminum heat sinking to transfer accumulated heat through the heat resistive epoxy shell). Various MTBF surveys have shown that power supply life may be extended years by lowering operating temperature only a few degrees.
